Suzuki has once again taken home the Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction New Car Award for 2025, as well as receiving the inaugural Canstar Blue Dealership Servicing Award. This is the third successive and sixth number one placing for Suzuki on the Customer Satisfaction New Car Award, with previous back-to-back wins in 2014 and 2015, 2017 and 2018, and now 2024 and 2025.

​Advances in equipment and features have heightened attention to the Swift as it continues to garner more international accolades. The Swift Hybrid has recently won more awards in Australia, Britain and Japan. These follow two New Zealand awards with the AA Driven New Zealand Passenger Car of the Year and NZ Company Vehicle magazine’s Compact Small Business Car of the Year.

When Tom retires on Friday 5 April he will leave some fairly big boots to fill and take with him a wealth of knowledge spanning more than 38 years of continuous service at Suzuki New Zealand Limited.

The launch of the new Suzuki Jimny 5-door has coincided with more accolades for the highly popular shorter wheelbase Jimny 3-door model. With high demand in both New Zealand and Australia for the much loved fourth generation Jimny in the past three years, appeal for the Jimny range is almost certain to widen with the arrival of the new 5-door version of the compact, selectable four wheel drive SUV.
