The NZ Masters Games alternates between Whanganui (home of Suzuki) and Dunedin each year. With around 5,000 competitors, the Games are the largest multi-sport event in New Zealand and are quite simply a fun time.
The 2019 event will be held in Whanganui, 1 – 10 February 2019. The 10-day event offers over 60 different sporting options for teams or individual sports. Events are open to people of any age who are considered ‘mature’ in their particular sport no matter what your level of ability or skill – it is all about participation.
Then after a busy day of competition, let loose at the Games Village and entertainment centre with a range of events and entertainment on offer.
You’re bound to make a few new friends and create some new memories with some old ones, with competitors coming from all around New Zealand and the world.
Plus, what event would it be without the many volunteers? You’ll spot a few of them driving around in Suzuki’s delivering medals and providing assistance to the many sport venues around the city.
So, if you are up for great times, great sports and great memories check here for further information on the NZ Masters Games. We look forward to seeing you in 2019.
