Nurtured at Home

Nurtured at Home offers home-based childcare throughout Auckland, Waikato, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, and the Bay of Plenty. They have Educators spread throughout the community who provide full and part-day education and childcare in their own homes. This allows Nurtured at Home to provide very individual care in a safe, local environment.

Their Educators are guided and supported by a team of registered Early Childhood Teachers. To enable these busy ‘Visiting Teachers’ to get around so many Educators, Nurtured at Home has a fleet of 18 Swifts. Each teacher has their own car which they take home every night and can use on weekends. Judging by all the positive comments – in particular about how easy they are to park and manoeuvre around town, the teachers obviously love them.

In choosing a vehicle, Petra Navanua, Managing Director of Nurtured at Home, admits the Swift’s bubbly personality was a big draw. “It was the look and style that first attracted us. They were cute and bubbly and fitted the image we wanted to portray”. Petra used to own an SX4 and had driven Swifts before. Of course they looked at other vehicles, but couldn’t find anything else that ticked all their boxes; “The Swifts are cost-effective and reliable with road side assistance being an extra bonus. They’re good on fuel, user-friendly, and they’re so easy to park and get around in.”

Petra’s also impressed with the boot space; “Despite being a smaller car, it's amazing how much you can fit in the back of a Swift. I once fitted a desk in the back, no problems.”

Nurtured at Home currently have 18 white Swifts all emblazoned with their fun, colourful logo and the fleet is expected to grow in 2017.
