At Suzuki New Zealand we are committed to putting the health and wellbeing of our customers, our dealerships and our staff first. We are taking COVID-19 very seriously and have put several steps in place to ensure everyone stays safe.

Car, Marine & Motorcycle Dealerships
As a result of the Government’s announcement regarding a nationwide closure on non-essential services, all of our Dealerships will be closed as of Thursday 26th March for a minimum of four weeks or until the lockdown is lifted. Dealership staff will be available to talk to you about your vehicle or boating requirements via phone or email. You can locate your dealer's contact details here.
However, during this time they will be unable to complete regular vehicle servicing. Please be reassured that your vehicle will be covered under warranty during these extraordinary circumstances, provided that your vehicle is serviced within one month after the shutdown period.
The owner is still required to carry out the basic checks as per their Owners Manual. For example, ensuring the engine oil and coolant levels are correct, tyre pressures are OK, etc. This is to ensure that you are not caught out with your vehicle when using it.
If you are providing an essential service, and your vehicle or outboard requires urgent repairs, please contact your nearest dealership in the first instance or submit an online contact form via the website. We will endeavour to answer all contact forms as soon as possible.
We understand the current situation is causing significant disruption to people and businesses. We want to work closely with our customers to manage any financial impacts by getting a plan in place as soon as possible. - how your circumstances have changed, and

We want to reassure you that Suzuki Insurance in partnership with Protecta Insurance is here to assist during this time.
Please be aware that during the lockdown, vehicle repairs are limited to essential services and essential purposes (i.e. to get groceries or health care). If your vehicle use does not fall in the essential service / purpose category as defined by the New Zealand Government, it is likely your vehicle repair will be delayed until after the lock down is lifted.
As part of complying with Covid-19 Level 4 conditions, normal response times may be longer than usual due to staff migrating to work from home. We understand the impact this could have on our customers and we really appreciate your patience during this time.

Suzuki New Zealand in partnership with the AA (New Zealand Automobile Association) will continue to provide roadside assistance for emergency and essential service vehicles only, as guided by the Ministry of Health. Please be assured during this time our focus will continue to be on the safety of our customers and our staff members out there providing this service.

Where vehicles are involved in providing an essential service, our Contact Centre will arrange the delivery of the vehicle to a Suzuki dealership or request further guidance on a case-by-case basis. Charges may apply if you are not within the normal travelling distance of your home or nearest Suzuki dealership.
As part of complying with Covid-19 Level 4 conditions, normal response times may be longer than usual due to reduced staffing levels across the Contact Centre and Roadside teams. We do ask for your understanding and tolerance as we endeavour to provide the best service possible under these unusual conditions.

The office is closed as of Thursday 26 March for four weeks and during this time the Suzuki New Zealand team will be working from home.
